My brothers and I built this game while participating in the 2021 GMTK Game Jam. This is only our second game jam, our first was 72 hours long. Having 24 hours less really makes the jam more difficult!


Instructions:

Left click to throw your massive "head" and reel it back to you.

Press 'a' to move left.

Press 'd' to move right.

Find all 10 gumballs while avoiding the enemies to win!

Awesome game! I really like how you focused more on collecting and exploring rather than high scores. I came here cause of the great feedback one of your guys gave our project so I'm here to return the favor! I really like the art-style and the feel, as well as the HUGE map to explore. However, I did get stuck in landmasses a couple times which made a softlock for me. I also feel that it would benefit a lot from some auditory stimulation, but I understand that it wasn't included due to time constraints. The gameplay is also really fun and creative too. Great job for the time you had!

Thank-you! I would love to explore this concept further. Might be fun to make it into a multiplayer game where you try to knock each other of the edge of an arena.

some map or warnings to avoid unwanted falls which lead to unescapable areas would have been nice.

Nice concept tho.

Yeah, the problem is if you're going at high speed you'll break though the wall. It doesn't matter where it is as far as we can tell, just didn't quite have enough time to sort out the bugs lol
