First Public Release
I have been working on this project for the last several months for a friend of mine, who wanted a game to showcase some of the music he has been writing. You can check out his music on Spotify, Apple Music, and SoundCloud I've finally opened it to the public to get feedback on the game, and find bugs that I've inevitably missed. If you do find a bug, or have some feedback, leave a comment! Eventually, this game will be released on the Google Play Store, and if I can find an Apple machine, it will be released on the App Store as well.
My goal with this game was to create a short metroidvania, but one where the controls were simple enough to play on a mobile device. As such, there are only two controls: swipe and tap (or if you are playing the browser version, WASD and Left-Mouse-Button). You can swipe to move, and tap to attack, and that's it. No need to deal with those pesky virtual buttons! Of course, this is quite limiting, but since a playthrough of the game is very short (usually under fifteen minutes), there isn't a need to expand on more complicated controls than this. Instead, the gameplay focuses more on navigating and eliminating the various obstacles throughout the underground lab that you find yourself in.
Some things to note: While most of the content is in the game, the game is not quite finished. There are a few more things to add, including art and music, and a few more bugs to fix. The game is fully playable though. You can try the mobile version out if you have an android device by downloading one of the .apk files. If you would like to listen to the music, please download 300_v0.11.4.apk. Since some of the music is explicit, I have not included it in the browser version.
